Weather:

June is hot in Washington, D.C., averaging 90 degree highs and lows of 72 degrees. There is a possiblity of rain showers during this time of year in D.C. so you may want to bring a raincoat or umbrella.

What to Wear:

On June 8th, for the installation, we ask that all participants who are laying down bones wear white. We prefer that you wear all white, however, a white top and neutral color bottoms will suffice. Please do not wear any bright, neon colors!!

We are selling custom t-shirts for the installation. Please feel free to purchase one and wear it on the day of the installation. You may order one at the installation, however, they will not be available for sale as the National Parks Service prohibits the sale of t-shirts on the National Mall.

If you are participating in the advocacy day on June 10th, please dress in business professional attire for your Congressional meetings. Capitol Hill is, as it sounds, a hill, so consider your footwear wisely.
